Your Instructor
Elise joined the team at Filoli as a School Program Interpreter in the summer of 2018. She completed a B.A. in Environmental Studies at UC Santa Cruz and is working on completing a MSc in Organismal Biology at San Jose State University. Elise recently became the Lead Garden Interpreter and loves all that the gardens and estate has to offer. You can often find her outside in the gardens looking at plants and searching for banana slugs. When not at Filoli Elise enjoys tending her vegetable garden, playing with her pets, and kayaking.
